I recently have had this migraine headache that has been ongoing for the past 5 days.
Pharmacist said its nothing life threatening but I just want it to go away. It feels like someones taking a sponge and squeezing it. But mostly like its on fire. I have had these but not for this long. Keep in mind I "Can sleep" but Ive been over sleeping because of depression. I hope this is enough info.

Depression leads to anger anger leads to being upset and feeling down again. Its the vicious circle.

I too think you should see your doctor and see about switchingh meds. There are so many good ones out there.

Let the doc know exactly how you are feeling. If you are just starting this med, it could be a side effect that will go away. That is why talking to the doc is so important. I didn't have good luck with Zoloft, got diahrrea really bad, but it was good for my mood. I lost weight, where others gained.

I hope that you feel better sooon.

Hugs, Karen

Carry that list up to your doctor and let them know what is going on and that you want to go off of it or on another med.

Don't ever give up. I had so many of the same symptoms for the first month or 2 I was on Lexapro. The doc just upped my dosage, and still I complained. After about six weeks, she added welbutrin and things got better. I honestly can say I've never been so happy and I don't feel like it's med induced, they just help a bit. Granted, I removed my stressors and I don't wake up every morning feeling the need to go back to sleep just to avoid them, but I think with my current med regime, I could face them anyway. Don't give up, like Karen said, see your doctor armed with your list of side effects and go from there. I was very lucky that the addition of just one med helped, but trust me, once you find the right med combination you'll be glad you didn't just give up and go on as you were.

Best to yoy!

I agree DONT EVER GIVE UP< Take that out of your vocab. There is always HOPE< ALWAYS HOPE! WRITE all your meds down on a list then write down how you feel. I recently felt the giving up blues but I went to my PDOC and after talking with Him about how I was feeling, He said "Your Zoloft is not working, the depression is back". He changed me to Effexor XR and added Abilify plus Ativan as needed while I am going thru transition. I have Fibromyalgia too, diagnosed in 2007. Just get rid of Negative language and replace it with positive language. Disengage yourself from anything/anyone who is negative. PDocs should perscribe postive engagements. Laugh, sing, dance, even if you dont feel like, DO IT!

Texas Sheep,

I took abilify with effexor and it worked good. How is it working for you? I recently switched to pristiq becaues I could take just one pill a day instead of five. It is working good for me. I hope your meds work good for you. Welcome to the forum. I haven't seen you post before.

I am sorry that it didn't work for you. I hope that you find something that does. Have you tried risperdol? It is similar to abilify and can be taken as needed.
