You are in my prayers as always

I just wanted to share my experience with sleep study in case it will help. I have major depressive disorder, severe, recurrent and have been complaining of fatigue. My psychiatrist recommended sleep study. My GP referred me for one. I had the study and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I've been using the CPAP machine for about 1 1/2 weeks. It takes some getting used to. Well I must be getting used to it because I'm starting to feel energetic in the mornings. Yes, I said energetic! What a feeling it is! I've been spiraling downwards mood wise again and it will be interesting to see if this new found energy will help prevent another "bottoming out". Psychiatrist says there's a good chance it will.

Sorry to go on about myself like this. I sincerely hope that you will be feeling better soon.

take care,
carol

cherrs carol have had a sleep study done. mild aponea. prescribed two sprays. useless. not bad enough was my aponea to warrant the use of a cpap. hoping it helps you. i know people who use cpaps successfully and get good releif. with much healing compassion to you. jamie.

cheers to you maggie, thank you.

jamie, that's too bad about the sprays. I hope there will be other options to help you sleep better. And for the depression.

take care, carol
