Okay so I am new here and not even sure how I got here but I made it. Today was a bit weird. I woke up happy and energetic but through the day became very insecure and agitated. Now I'm just plain down and dark but I can't be because my boyfriend is feeling down so I have to pretend to be ok so tht I can comfort him and brin him back to light. I need to be supportive but inside I'm feeing extreme sadness. I'm exausted and the more sleep I get the more exausted I feel. If I didn't care so much about my mom I would live wrecklessly then put myself to sleep forever but I would never hurt my loving family. Do I'm stuck in a f'd up place :-(

Hi Dark Valley,

Welcome to the HW depression forum. You have come to a good place where you will get a lot of suppport.

Are you seeing a counselor by any chance? I would highly recommend it with the way that you are feeling. It is hard putting on a mask and acting okay. But I am sure it helps you be supportive with your boyfriend. You just have to be supportive with yourself now. Keep trying. Talk to somebody. It is good to go to counseling, it could save you from having to take meds.

Best wishes to you.

Hugs, Karen
