HI Embrace,

And welcome to the depression forum. I did read your post. I am sorry for all that you are going through. It must be so difficult for you at this time. but you sound very brave. I do have to say living alone can be hard. I don't disagree with what you want. I spend a lot of time alone, but I don't have to. When you have to, it is different. So think twice about that. It is nice to have your privacy, but it is also nice to have other people around. You may get lonely. But try it and see for yourself how it goes, you may enjoy it too.

I am sorry you lost your counselor. It is hard finding a new one that you can click with. Maybe in time she will come back and you can see her again. I am sorry for what happend to her daughter. It must be horrible.

Keep posting. You were very brave to tell your story. The forum has been a little slow, but it is picking up. But if you don'n't get a lot responses, don't get discouraged. I think people are just outside in the weather and slow on posting.

Keep your chin up. One day at a time too.

Keep posting.

Hugs, Karen

Can you get an appeal on your denial of your pension, try an appeal, hopefully you can
get it on an a appeal....second look into getting computer classess and maybe ask about water pt exercises
form your doctor, have him make sure to start slowly on water exercises...there is always something to do
for everyone and giving up is not one, you've gotten this far, so keep on fighting...
Many well wishes to you and do keep us posted as we do care....

I found a page on the prognosis

It is not life threatening.  There are many things you can do to help make your bones stronger.  But spine problems due to it aren't reversable.

I would appeal the decision.

Keep the faith.  Know that we all care.

Many well wishes on the appeal and do keep us posted as we do care...
and look up what gettingby/Karen found on your
illness and even do a google search on it as you
might be able to find something you can do, knowledge is power...
get that power and start looking things up and find out more...
again many well wishes to you...
