I started a new thread because our other one went over 100 posts.  I hope everybody continues to post.  I really enjoy reading how everybody is doing.  And I think others do also.

Keep on keeping on everybody.  We are all going to get through things together.  This is a wonderful forum, and you all make it that way.

Hi Karen,

I meant to post this in worried girl's thread, but I saw it was mistakenly deleted, so thought I would post this info. here, and you can let her know about it if it's helpful?

There is an article in the "Alive" health magazine this month about diabetes 2 and the natural cure that has been researched and apparently effective. I don't know if she is suffering from 1 or 2, but if it's 2 it might be worth looking into. I get this magazine at the local health store in Canada. It might also be online to read for free. It also said if you do a google search for 'natural cure for diabetes type II' a lot comes up.

As is the norm, any natural cures for sickness and disease are often suppressed by the medical system since it would mean monetary loss to them, but it doesn't mean cures don't exist for what the medical community calls 'incurable.'

all the best,

embers

Hi IG,

THanks for replying to my post. The article talked about good fats verses bad fats. I think doing a google search would be the best idea for worried girl as I am dealing with some intense mental exhaustion and don't know that I would be able to sift the article too thoroughly to relay it well atm. I think it sounds like she is making good strides forward which is great to see! I hope you are also doing well IG. :)

Maggie, it's nice to see you.

How are you? How are things on the homefront?

God bless you too!

hugs, embers

Karen, I know you will probably read this, so I am including some extra HUGS for you and some cyber bean brownies. ;)

Hi, PA_grandma,

The puzzle you posted is one that Alzheimer's patients are unable to put together. Anyone here who can work the puzzle does not have Alzheimer's Disease. Okay, group, prove that we're all without Alzheimers!

This had been posted on the Alzheimer's Forum some time ago, and there were very cute comments by some who tried it and got it together but wondered if their way of doing it counted!

Another cool and peaceful day here today.

Take care, all.

Yah, I knew it was Alzheimer's...didn't want to 'scare' anyone who couldn't do it.

BTW, I managed to succeed. I'll accept that diagnosis!

P.S.  It helps to drag all of the 'pieces' to the outside so you start with a blank 'playing field', or some of them might get hidden.

"As we older people get older still we all need to be concerned with Alzheimer's disease. This puzzle is easy to put together if you are not affected by Alzheimer's disease, but impossible to do for someone with the disease. Give it a try. If this puzzle is particularly difficult for you then your physician can offer you additional testing to check you for Alzheimer's. The sooner you deal with the disease the more years you will enjoy life. There have been some very remarkable new discoveries over the last year or two in the research to cure the disease. Nothing yet cures it but electrical stimulation of the brain seems the most promising along with other new drugs. If you can put this puzzle together. Say goodbye to Alzheimer's!"

Good morning all

Starting off to be another good day...I am amazed to feel normal, not rose-tinted manic world, just feel like a human again. Took a nice shower and pampered myself, did my nails and feet.

I wrote my daughter a letter for Mother's Day, telling her what an inspiration she is and how I learn from her. I think she will like it. No plans for Mother's Day other than not doing housework, a cup of coffee in bed and curling up with a good book...soounds perfect fro me. I'm sure hubby will cook too.

I wish all of you Moms a wonderful Mother's Day and hope you have a good day.

Karen, let me know how your baby is asap, ok?

Best wishes to all

Take care...

Hi All.  I just wanted to say hello and give an early "Happy Mother's Day" to everyone.  I know I haven't been a big poster for a few months now, but I am still here and an active reader.

I still have the same issues going on, but they are very slowly starting to get better.  I have 2 jobs and the 2nd one started to give me more hours this week, which will in turn help me to pay bills.  about a month ago I had so much anxiety and was not able to pay attention to the stuff that needed to be done to work my way out of this mess.  I made a very long list....starting with the hardest down.  I am still working on the top 2...taking baby steps.  But it feels good knowing that I am doing that.

Maggie, I'm glad to hear that you are feeling well.  I have missed seeing your updates in Jamie's posts.  I miss him quite a bit too, but have been keeping in touch a bit via e-mail.  Karen, I'm sorry your "baby" has been sick.  And "It's Genetic" I'm still trying to follow your advice you gave me a few months ago.

I hope everyone has a nice day tomorrow.  I think I'm off in a few minutes to finish the majority of Stress #1 item on my list.

Love to you all!
Cass

Happy Mother's Day to you Cass, and to everybody else.

My baby is doing better. She really wasn't acting sick. I think it was just the beginning of it. I think I caught it early...

Thanks for all the well wishes...

Hugs, Karen
