Hello there everyone I hope you can give me some advice.

So for the past year since March last year things have just done downhill my dad passed away then my grandad and aunt. All over family issues aswell. I don't live near my family and now it's just me and my Mum, and I feel like I have no one, I constantly feel down feel like I have no one to talk to, no one would understand or think I'm mad or crazy or something. I get days when I don't want to get up or just want to cry for no reason at all.
The stress of the past year is also getting me down to. And for the last 2 months I have been in a lot of pain with my neck and back, and had a couple of flares where my body aches all over I get really tired, but can't sleep or not for long.
I feel like I'm going crazy with everything mounting up and bringing me down, and I just don't know what to do.

If anyone can give me some advice I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Gosh, it sounds like you could have fibromyalgia. It makes you ache all over and tired. I would talk to your doctor. Let them know how you are feeling, if it is fibro, they have to rule a lot of other things out to get a dx. That means tests like exrays and blood work.

It could just be depression too. That gives you the same symptoms. I seriously would talk to your doc and see what is going on.

You have suffered a lot of losses, both of these things could be going on from the added stress. Please see a doctor and let us know what is going on. Don't give up until you get some answers.

That is what I have been thinking. My neck pain got diagnosed by xray and MRI I have cervical lordosis in my case I have no curve at all in my neck, nerve compression at C7 and also a slight bulge on the disc ... I feel soo old yet i'm only 19 next month !
. And got told at the time for the aches and pains it was just the flu ... I knew it wasn't but the doctor didn't seem interested.
The aches and pains go through phases the pain comes on really bad for what seems like days and days then it slowly goes but then comes back again.

It's just all confusing cause there's all these different emotions and pains, I just don't know what to do. Trying to see my doc this week as I go away on tuesday for 3 weeks.

Thank you for your advice, I will keep this updated and keep checking for replies from others.

:-)

If your doc isn't taking you seriously, I would talk to another doc. Make sure it is a pain doc and that they believe in fibromyalgia. Some docs don't.

I hope that you feel better soon. Chronic pain is no fun. Keep moving as much as you can though in case it is fibro. The less you move the stiffer you get.

I live in Spain and yes the doctors speak english but a lot of the time they don't really seem to be taking any notice or I don't know it seems to be they get paid so they're happy

I trying to get to see a doc soon but I'm not getting anywhere.

Can you see a psychiatrist or a counselor? That may be a route to take. My psychiatrist works with my fibromyalgia too. I get meds for fatigue from him.

I hope that you feel better soon and that you are having a good day.

Hi Missy,

I dont' blame you for wanting things sorted out. It is hard to know how to deal with something when we don't know what it is. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Keep posting. If you want to, check out the fibro forum. On there check out the thread called "fibro 101". It is the second thread on the forum. It has a list of symptoms and a lot of information about fibromyalgia. You may even see yourself there.

Please get checked out by a medical doctor, as well as seeing a psychiatrist. Chronic pain can worsen your depression. A psychiatrist is also a medical doctor and can prescribe medications for medical illnesses if you cannot get them from your regular doctor.
Clinical depression with dysthymia; Sjogren's Syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Meds: Celexa & Buspar daily & Xanax as needed

Hey there people.

So I went to the hospital about the aches and pains they did a full blood work, and I have a viral infection ... Finally having an answer has made me sleep properly for the first time in weeks.
But the pain relief they gave I had used before and once again I got all these weird side effects withing in day ... So If it is a viral infection like they say the pain will go as this virus leaves me..

When I get back from visiting family I will look into speaking to someone about my moods etc this isn't normal yesterday I had a major downer =/

Thank you all for your advice
