I JUST WANTED TO SAY A FEW WORDS. 1 DEPRESSION AND ANY DEPRESSIVE ILLNESS SUCKS. BUT
WHAT I HAVE FOUND IN MY JOURNEY IS THAT PEOPLE AND HUMAN CONTACT DO MATTER AND DO
HELP A LOT.. I HAVE DONE MANY MANY YEARS OF DIFFERENT FORMS OF THERAPY, CBT, DBT, CCT-MY FAVOURITE. I AM STILL IN THERAPY, SEE A THERAPIST AND SEE A PSYCHIATRIST PERIODICALLY.
WHAT I WANT TO SAY IS TRY TO NOT ISOLATE, TALK WITH YOUR FRIENDS-PLEASE DON'T SHUT
THEM OUT. AND YES EXERCIZE. WHATEVER IT IS, I WALK. I GUESS LIFE IS SHORT, AND I WANT ALL
OF US TO LIVE IT TO THE MAX. PATIENCE IS KEY GUYS, I AM AWARE WE ALL HAVE GOOD / BAD
AND INDIFFERENT DAYS, AND THIS IS PART N' PARCEL OF THE ILLNESS, BUT DON'T SHUT PEOPLE OUT. KEEP IN REGULAR CONTACT WITH YOUR DOCTOR AND ALLIED TEAM. ALSO DO THINGS THAT
YOU ENJOY, ART, READING, ETC. I ALWAYS REMEBER AND TELL MYSELF EVERYDAY THAT THERE IS
SOMEONE OUT THERE DOING TOUGHER THAN ME. THANKS.

WITH HEALING COMPASSION TO ALL

DEAR JAMIE

THANKS FOR SHARING AND REMINDING ME THAT ALOT OF THIS STRUGGLE (WELL, MOST OF IT) IS REALLY UP TO US. NOONE ELSE CAN "MAKE US ALL BETTER'...I FIND MYSELF PRAYING TO GOD AND ASKING ALOT OF HIM AND THEN I REMEMBER THAT THE FIRST STEPS ARE UP TO ME...YOU CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER, BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM DRINK

IT IS SOOOO EASY TO GIVE UP, BUT WE CANNOT. THANKS FOR GIVING ME SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT!! ISOLATION IS MY WEAKNESS.

LOVE
MAGS

I want to be better. I am so depressed I can't face people I'm sure must love me. Even with my husband I have to put on my happy face. I can't bear to think that my internal problems might drag him down with me. He has suffered, and no one needs a depressed person making it worse. I want to walk and socialize. I tried this week. But I'm so tired. I had no where else to turn, this is the first time I've been on the internet, talking to "nameless" "faceless" people. It's easier than being around people I know find me...difficult. Crazy. Sometimes when I'm "high" (emotionally) all the people I see that day just call me crazy. (seriously-they do) Whenever I'm in a crowd of people I feel like I'm a different species. Inside they must all be thinking "that girl is just bizarre". I can't shake it. I really am trying. I don't want to live like this. Mostly though, I don't want to live at all.
