My painting went well in that all my emotions settled down for the most part by this afternoon.  As for the picture?  Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Sinc Pics can not posted here I decided to share one my poems. Jamiee inspired me to share, art is art in any form as long as it expresses your feelings.  When I was abused as a child,  Jesus would visit me in the form of a Hobo.  I don't know why I choose to think him this way. I hope this poem gives some one peace and warm for just one moment. blush

The Visit    4/21/12

Sitting in despair, cold and weary.

The Hobo appears in a whisper

From some unspoken prayer.

Peace and calm waft from the Hobo.

He squats, reaching out

To hold my hand.

I close my eyes, he cannot be real.

A peaceful, deep breath washes my fear

open my eyes, the Hobo’s still here.

I crawl upon his lap; as he sits down.

Our breaths come in together

As his loving arms come ‘round.

Hobo quietly tells me I am loved.

Safety, warmth and comfort

Are infused into my being ~

I hear my name called…

I hold onto my Hobo tight.

Mother yells my name again…

open my eyes-sigh-he is gone; I must go.

Ok here is a brand new one a did a few days ago. Hope everyone enjoys it.

What the Soul wants.

The soul aches and crys inside.
It wants to be held, softly, in kindness.
Desolate, without words it seeks compassion.
This soul has stood strong and faithful,
Admist voilence against pain, through the rain.
Now it is humbled and weary, still hopeful.
To be removed from mayhem and darkness.
Welcoming calmness and peace.
The soul will keep searching for this sacred place;
I shall be here with my gentle embrace, waiting...

Thank you for letting me share my emotions on this site, it is a blessing!

Thank you for sharing... Both very powerful poems. I used to write all the time but, I haven't wrote much in recent years. I think you've inspired me to pick up a pen and get some feelings out on paper.

be plant nor tree,
am at one with the wind-
of land and sea.
time, essence of love,
the birds trees and the doves.
pictures of truth,
in the garden i see,
miracles of birth-
from you, from me,
be planted today
for all to see.

very rough. has been a while

jamie

ps since i did this spur of the moment it had no title.

it does now. the garden of miracles.

I am new to this site. Reading through some of the depression comments and thought I would read on this. Loved the poems. Very deep.
I posted on the depression site. Lost my husband June 1,2012. My soul mate. He is with the lord. He is not suffering and we prayed together for the lord to take him quickly. Jesus did! My husband developed MCI and passed within 3 months. I am doing well under circumstances. OCDING on my house, rearranging furniture and have had friends to give me books on TEAR SOUP AND THE SHACK. Best books to read. Loved them! Helped me to feel better to read them. Nights and early am are the worse. Enjoyed the poems. Thanks for sharing. Sheryl

Thank you! It is nice to share thoughts when your going through a grief. I have been blessed with a lot of caring friends that have been here. I know God has plans for me to go in a new path. I will just take things slowly and let him show me the direction he wants me to go in. Hope your doing good also. May God Bless you and give and heal you. Sheryl

Sheryl,

You have a very good game plan set.

May God shine his light on your path continually.

Be still and know there is peace.
