I was feeling bad for myself this week, until I saw the news about the drought continuing in the west. Poor farmers!

Anyway, I met with my neurologist, phsyciatrist and primary doctors over the past 2 weeks. Finally, after 5 months I have convinced them that my Phsyc meds are interfering with my blood pressure medication. I have been having VERY long BP 90/85 or lower. Fatigue etc... depression increases etc.. inpatient stay happened due to this. So we finally all, got on the same page; dare I say it out load!

I am off the BP meds and reduced on 2 other meds that affect the BP. One med increased to balance. Wew!

Never, Never, Never, give up! It may take time and heartache, and tears, lots of tears. It can be done and eventually you can find a doctor that will listen to your other doctors. I find a new neurologist. You HAVE to be your own advocate and be persistant. It is not easy, overwhelming to think about, I know. I cried just making the appointments. However, you have to do it! Or the change you want most likely will not happen.

Just wanted to share that, thanks.

You are very welcome, only sharing my fear and results and hope it helps to know others feel the same. It can be so frightening and people can be so cold and mean just answering questions, it is just terrible what one has to put up with. But we are strong than that right Jess!!!

Karen I sent you an email, mine will come under Trina and John from Yahoo verizon.net I did not set up a healing well account.

My doc had put me on neurontin and it was driving my blood sugar up. I called the doc and they said just take less of the neurontin. It still raised my blood sugar. Finally I called my doctor's office and said I'm not going to take this anymore.

They weren't really happy with me for just quitting it, but oh well. I'm not going to end up in a coma because they want me to stick with that med.

Trina,

You are right, it is so important to advocate for yourself. If one dr. can't help then you have to find one that will. I am glad you are feeling better. You are very brave and very strong.
