ok i am going into 9th grade just so you now. since 5th grade i have been bullied. they called me fat, ugly and other names. i was always pulled into the drama, people blaming me saying i said this or i did that. at the end of 7th grade this girl i was a friend with said something that i said about a fried and my group of friends got mad at me and went on her side. i gotr sad and lonely. you see that day we had student council votes. where everyone gave out pins saying vote for me. i took out a pin someone gave me and took the paper of it.  i am little bit happier ow because i recently got a boyfriend. do i have depression?

Dear mkr,

It sounds like you definately need to talk to someone. Have you been to see a doctor? there are many diagnosis that look like depression, but are not. Do your parents or gaurdians know about your attempt at cutting?

The actions you described are nothing to play around with. I strongly suggest to talk to your parents/gaurdian.
Any trusted adult, like a guidance councelor at the school who will help you through these rough times.

School years are hard, although they can be happy years if we let them be. Communication is a good start with people who care.

You can keep posting here we care and can listen, however, someone face to face and who know you is more ideal.

Hi there,

I had to take a couple of sentences out of your post because we aren't suppose to talk aobut self harm or suicide. But I really think you should talk to a counselor or somebody like that. You will probably feel better now that you have a boyfriend. But don't overlook how you felt when you were down. I am sorry that you got bullied. I know how that feels. I did too. But then I did get a boyfriend too and things were a lot better. So this could change things for you. But remember if you get down again, do talk to somebody. Or call a crisis line. Take care sweetie, and keep posting.

Hugs, Karen

I know that site! Meditation is a very good tool to use stay centered and grounded. It does take practice. Well worth the effort and becomes very natural after a while.

Welcome to the forum Intinosha.
