Starting a new one, the last one got locked at 98 or 99, not sure.

I hope everybody is having a good day!!!  Praying for those who could be in danger of floods with this nasty weather.  Mags, if you are out there, let us know how you are if you can...  I am worried about her...  If anybody is corresponding with her, please post and let us know how she is.  I haven't heard from her in over a week.

Take care all...  Remember walking and mindfulness.  We are all here for eachother and I love that...

Hugs, Karen...

Top of the morning to all. Yes, many prayers to all in the path of the Hurricane. This weather all over has been a struggle.

I cannot really believe I found the new link. Thanks, Karen for putting Chapter 15, it was the key. smilewinkgrin

Day 4 of my journey going back on Cymbalta. Slept better last night, so not as fatigued as I was yesterday. Had to add Benedryl to kick in the sleep, but that's okay.

Mind chatter down, however it seems to wear off later in the afternoon/evening. I had been clinching my jaw so hard, I chipped a couple of my back teeth. And I don't have jaw pin or clinching until around 3pm.

Going to the chiropractor today for more cold laser therapy. Really helps my herniated discs and nerve damage from a epidural block.

Prayers for everyone to have a happy, healthy day!

Thank you Abizzygirl,

Yes, many prayers are going out. I am so concerned about Magpie. I hope she isn't going through anything bad, as Katrina got her when she hit.

I hope that the cymbalta works for you. Keep us posted. Remember it takes time, six to eight weeks to reach full potential.

Hoping that you all have a good day too. Mine is fantastic so far. As long as I am not in a lot of pain, the day is great!!!

Hugs, Karen...

Good Morning all!

Karen so glad to hear you are having a Banner Day!

Abizzy, if you still have racing thoughts and grinding of teeth, [ which are my problems also] you might want to ask the doc to try .25mg of risperdal (sp?)at night. It helps tremendously for me and the does is low enough that weight gain is not an issue.

I also take 120mg a day of cymbalta and I have to say it works well for me, took a full 2 months for me to get adjusted to it though. I also drink 16 oz of water when I take it and eat a yogurt right after. This routine works well with the side effects for me.

Prayers to all in the Isaac zone!

Trina

Hey Trina.

Thanks for your advice. I was on Cymbalta successfully before but stupidly went off. I'm considering going from 30mg to 60mg (target dose) this weekend. My doctor wanted me to start at 60mg but that's not how we began last time.

Do you take it in the evening or morning? This time, I'm taking it at night and thus far none of the horrific insomnia issues.

I feel a little Twilight Zone-ish and slight blurry vision, but it's well worth it stopping the constant mind chatter and clinching my jaw. My husband said I've smiled and laughed more the past few days than he's seen me in months.

Thanks again for listening. No one else I know understands.

Peace, love & Bobby Sherman.

Kara,

that is funny, my husband said the same about me! Bobby Sherman, I was the only one of my few friends that like him! You MUST be a nice person.

I take 60 in am and 60 at dinner time. Used to take 120 in am but could not function all day and finally woke up at bedtime!

I still get blurry vision on bad days and if anxiety is high, I will clench my jaw, but these days are far and few between now.

Stay strong and nice posting with you! :)

Trina,

LOL! Bobby was cute!! Thanks for the advice on the timing of your dosage! I am going to go to 60mg. Long weekend and hubby home so I will feel better in the event I incur worse side effects.

Oh and extra thanks for the correct spelling of clenching! Geez it's an annoying thing to do. My jaw is so sore and popped some this morning.

Well, time to price some items we are taking to our booths tonight, and then head to the chiropractor. Sort of concerned about driving, but will not put on my lead foot and take it slow.

Live long and prosper! Omg! I just giggled at that.

Kara,

I am so glad that you are feeling better. And you too Trina. I went for a nice walk in the woods with my girlfriend. I let my dog Jasmine run out there. She is surely tired out. It did me good to get out in the woods.

Have a wonderful day both of you!!!

Hugs, Karen

PS I took risperdol, it worked fantastic. I switched to abilify eventually. It works good too.

Good morning, all.

Shut down last night (emotionally) so I took Cymbalta after dinner instead of right before bedtime. Brain kicked in again and can I get an amen, slept great!

Upping dose tonight. Am sooooo glad this med works for me.

We are expecting storms fom the hurricane this weekend and the last storm tore up our roof, still waiting on roofers!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Blessings, love, peace & health.

Morning everyone!

Coffee is a great idea this am Karen, I am on my second cup. My black blob of mystery emotions is chasing me today and making me foggy! HI JAMIE HOPE YOU ARE WELL

My husband appreciated the windbreaker piece, as that is how he greets each morning! I know. TMI!

Kara, so glad that cymbalta is working for you, AMEN to Gods grace!! During these good times remember to focus on you and try mindfulness if you can. It helps in the darker times when you have it as part of your life.

Kara stay safe in the storms let know how you are if you can.

Happy day everyone! Art is urging me to draw today.

Evening Trina, Karen, Joyce and Jamie.

So sorry you aren't sleeping Jamie. I've struggled with that or 30 years, it's no fun. Will say a prayer that you are able to sleep well.

Amen to God's grace, Trina. Without Him I wouldn't be here. I guess I realized I've been in dark times most of my life.

The med is just now kicking in with nausea. Ugh. Around 3ish, it begins. Very groggy today and zero energy. Still got on the treadmill and ran errands.

Going to 60 mg tonight.

Prayers for health to all in every way.
