as i said, my emotions really fluctuate that sometimes i feel really excited and happy for no particular reason.. and sometimes i feel so depressed and hopeless and that stuff:P
it seems as if my mood swings at least 3 times a week..
and when im depressed.. like right now, i feel so hopeless.. i have no energy.. having difficulty in concentrating and remembering things..
and i have this urge to hurt myself,
it feels as if i have lost the core of my mind.. feel empty..
i never seen a doctor for this kinda issues.. im not even sure if i need to.

DEFINATELY SEE YOUR DR. EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON.
THIS WAY YOUR DR CAN ASSESS YOUR SITUATION AND
ADVISE YOU OF HIS/HER BEST TREATMENT OPTIONS.
WRITING A JOURNAL HELPS TOO. IF U EVER FEEL AT
RISK CALL A CLOSE FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER TO
TAKE YOU TO HOSPITAL ASAP. TRY AND NOT ISOLATE,
TAKE A WALK, PLAY MUSIC, ETC.

Hi Sweetie,

I had to edit your post because we can't discuss self harm here. It is against the rules of the forum.

I agree with Jamie,
Talk to your doc, or see a counselor. They can help you with this. You may need medication too. But it will help you.

Do take a nice walk in the good weather. I walk daily, it does help. Gets the endorphines going. I hope that you feel better soon. Keep posting and know that we care.

kmia,

Everyone has given you good advice, and I reinforce that advice.

You most definately need to see a doctor regarding your symptoms. They are signs of several disorders that can easily be helped with medication. A diagnosis will aid in which direction to take.

Exercise will help keep you centered while you are figureing out what is going one, but do not wait too long to see a doctor.

Stay strong and keep posting we are here to listen and support the best we can.

Hello Kmia! I had pretty hefty moodswings in my younger years. It was finally diagnosed as brain synapse misfiring and I had a low amount of serotonin, and dopamine. What I mean to say is that its possible it is a chemical imbalance in the ol noggin. Many meds are available for such things. It is nice to be on an even keel emotionally. I would say the other posters are right, get with a doctor who cares, and see what developments bring. Meanwhile, drink a lot of water. It helped me.
