Here are a few links from our resources page for "skills" to help you cope. Journaling is a skill so you are on the right track. NOT every skill will work, every day. That is why you need more than one. I garden, paint, walk alot, use to run; journal and use DBT skills and mindfullness skills.
It would be a good idea to visit your doctor and get checked out. Medicines can help, however you must do the rest but you can't do all sometimes.
