eyes  hello - I've just discovered this place. I suffered a stroke a year ago and the depression that was always with me, became worse. I've been seeing a therapist and  taking an antodepressant.  Kinda waiting to see if any of this helps - hasnt so far. But I refuse to give in to my bad thoughts.
So here I am looking for somewhere to get info and o yes support.

Hi Cindi!!

Do you know what caused your stroke??? Are you youngish? I am also a co-moderator on the lupus forum here at HW and some there have had strokes due to thick sticky blood caused by positive Antiphospholipid and anticardiolopin antibodies. Just wonder how the docs are keeping you from having another stroke.

I like your sig . . . so true.

I hope you make some friends here and find some good info.

Keep posting!!!

Thanks for the welcome -
Rosie - I just turned 45. I had uncontrolled blood pressure. Plus I am a diabetic and at the time that was uncontrolled too.I did have an aunt who passed because of complications with Lupus, so that has always been a concern for me. Currently my doctor is treating the blood pressure and the diabetes. So far so good..
