there is hope Jay j. Where there is breath there is hope. There is nothing in this world that can not be overcome in time.

Do yourself the greatest favor in your life, call the number or go to the closest er/crisis center and talk to someone.

There are many people on this forum that suffer everyday and make it through. You too can do this, you never know how strong you are till you try. SO TRY!

Peace and Courage

I am back and I'm going to start by answering Carl's questions
1.Nothing literally nothing for summer
2.The Conjuring
3.No pets at all; no friends either
Now I will begin by saying I certainly wasn't born under a lucky star.Things have taken a turn for the worst.I'm 8grade now and still an outsider. And i have come to accept that I am lame. I have no reason to be in this world. Nobody cares for me nobody!!!!

Do you talk to a counselor or anything. You are very young, you may think of yourself as lame now, but that will change, and by the way, you are not lame...

Each year of school things change. You meet new people, make new friends. Things change rapidly at times in life. Hang in there, things will get better.

I will find some teen sites for you to join. I think talking to people your own age will help you. People that are different, like us. Only younger.

I am glad that you answered Carl's questions. That gives you something to think about. But you do need to work on you and start counseling to help yourself get some self esteem. That is all it takes in life. A little confidence.

Keep hanging in there, be patient. You will make friends.

Hugs, Karen...

Jay-J you are not lame,
obiviously you are strong enough to make through from May til now and come back to your new friends here and look for support.

this tells me you are instinctive at learning coping skills.

It is are being what, 13 14? Horomones flying all over the play, never knowing which direction you or body are going in. We have all been there, some not so long ago.

Journal writing in any kind of notebook or computer is a good way to stabilze you emotions and feelings. Put then into some kind of perpective so you can make some sense out of them later.

If you have abuse in your history don't be afraid, we are here to help, I was abused for 15 years and am here tell you life does get better. You have a lot of resources these days to reachout too.

Peace

Hey Jay

Are there any other kids with your diagnosis in your school? If not, that could be a lonely place indeed. If there are, can you relate to them?

My daughter is 17, adhd with severe depression and my heart hurts FOR you...but life WILL get better

You had to have strength to come here and post! Be strong even when you think you cannot.
Talk with anyone you trust
Keep talking here
We have all suffered (maybe to a lesser degree) in high school. I was a"reject" and a **** according to the cheerleaders, they spit on all the hippie girls when we walked down the hall. They suck and they are not worth even thinking about, the people who may call you lame.

Hang tough-you will win

They are supposed to be people who I can trust but they pick on me instead; my peers. I say peers because they're not friends and that's a cold fact. cry

Do your parents know how you feel? I know you could look online for other teen forums with aspergers or the like. Your diagnosis doesn't have to define you and other kids with other diagnoses' and mental illness or even addiction issues(yes they do happen at his age)often feel exactly like you do and you can't tell me you don't have any kids with any of that stuff in your school. and one of those other diagnosed people might have parent who believes like I do and tries to get you guys to hang out after school. This is something your parents can help you with, hopefully their not douchebags, otherwise its gonna be up to you. Oh and my neice has a condition i can't even spell that = holes in her brain, my son is adhd and my daughter was a cutter is Bi-Polar, so am I and has a addiction problem, I've been in recovery 9 1/2 years.

Hi Jay-J,

I am always here ready to listen on what you want to say, you can tell your story anytime, any day.

You are not a useless life form and you should stop thinking that you are one, nobody is a useless life form, everyone in this world is here for a good reason such as to inspire, to help and so on. You may not know what you are now, but you will sooner or later.

Sooo, conjuring huh ? I heard it's an extremely scary movie... that's why I didn't watch it. Oh, and by the way, you're only grade 8, you still have a long way to go in life, you can do this Jay-J, and if it makes you feel any better, I'm grade 7, so we're close in age.

Feel better and feel free to talk as much as you want!

Much love,
Joanne

Jay-J,

I know you feel bad right now but I think your school is not the only school that's just... let's say we're sick of the things that we're dealing at school.

I know it sucks so bad like you're puking your guts out... I feel you. You could always post on what you feel whether it's super angry, just sick or having a wonderful time. When I was depressed, I'm always down in the dumps and I'm sick of it, like A LOT.

But this forum had changed my life and I bet it could change yours too. Tell me on what's going on in your school that you feel so sick of and I assure you that you'll feel better after. I understand your situation Jay-J, I've been through that position.

I am looking forward for your next post, cheers! Joanne

I am l.e.f.t o.u.t by my peers not trying to be rude but I just can't take the things I have to go through at school. I signed a safety contract that says I will talk to someone before I hurt myself. I couldn't refuse to sign, though I wish I did refuse.

We can't discuss self harm here but that doesn't minimize the fact that you really need to talk to somebody. You are hurting and you need some compassion. Have you ever introduced yourself to anybody and had a conversation? I really think you need to expose yourself to social situations so that you can learn how to coexist with others on an intellectual level. Go to a coffee shop, or to the library.

Are you afraid to make conversation? You do good here, but I wouldn't talk about depression in a conversation of your peers. What kind of classes do you take? Are you interested in being friends with anybody in your classes?

I hope you start to feel better soon. Keep posting and know that we care.

Hugs, Karen...

sad hey people sorry it's been awhile but school keeps me so busy I rarely have time for myself. As for my current situation I will say I am at a crossroads with myself. I want to do certain things but can't. I still need help. shakehead
