My daughter got dumped by her boyfriend on Monday, trying to get her up beat again, but of course mom(Me) can't say anything right. I did call one of her friends that should help and her aunt will try to facebook her and I know those will help, right now I kinda want my hubby to go up to her and punch her boyfriend lights out, but it was just a thought.
Any ideas how to handle this??? I've even trying to get her focus on clothes, for her student teaching job coming in the fall...But she's not a shopper. I did tell her to go to the local bowling alley and use the house balls and throw some steam off that way, She used to be good at bowling...If we can just keep her busy and her mind off him until she comes down on July 16th...

Chartreux,

As much as you love your child, you can not protect them from life and living. You can only be there for her. Sounds like you are doing the best you can for her at the moment.

Remember when you were dating? It is not easy, but we all survived, so will she. You raised her, give yourself some credit. The pain has to come before the joy!

Peace and strength

Best wishes Chartreux,

I know it will all work out. It is just hard for her right now. Like Trina says, just be there for her.

Hugs, Karen...

Hi Chartreux,

She will need sometime but she will feel better. Glad she's starting to feel better.
