There are a few times in the year where my mind starts to take control. I'll be doing something normal and fine and then all of the sudden I will start wishing I wa****** or having "bad" thoughts. I know that it's not me, or even how I feel but none the less it's all I can think about
Luckily, I've started to meditate and do yoga and tai chi. All of these allow me to reconnect myself with my thoughts and for the most part take back control.
It's hard though, functioning with little awareness of my mental illness (I'm medicated and have a wonderful team) and then all of the sudden it's like all the work has been for nothing.
