You've already started the right direction by talking here!
You may have been tucking away problems for years without dealing effectively with them. Then, all of a sudden - one major thing happens in your life - and all those things tucked away - just come back to haunt you.
A talk therapist is terrific for helping you to deal with problems as they appear. And meds will often help - but the right type of meds.
There is nothing wrong with vitamins - BUT, they shouldn't be taken without some sort of planning or advice! I was at seminar recently for vitamins, herbs and supplements.
There is such a thing as getting too much of certain vitamins. Vitamin C and D seem to have no maximum that can be taken. In fact vitamin C is at times infused into the bloodstream in huge amounts - as part of a cure for certain things. I would caution taking more than what might be shown on a multiple vitamin list for the other vitamins.
I do think you'de find a talk therapist very very helpful.
