iven been taking cymbalta for about 7 months now, for anxiety and slight depression. it seemed to work for a couple of months , but then i reliezed that i hadnt cried or had much of any emotion for a while, i soon noticed that i had no reaction to any type of situation. and i started feeling like i was completely numb, so ive started to wean myself off of the drug by taking it every other day and so on.. i keep getting that darn head spinning funny feeling thing. i hope that goes away soon.  i just need to get off this drug to see if my emotions come back and i can feel like myself again. .. .. plus i was reading a post earlier about having horrible night sweats and vivid ass dreams.. thats exactily what i have, i have to change my cloths twice throughout the night, and i have wild vivid dreams, just wondering if anyone has had the same thing happen to them while on this meds and if anyone has any suggestions

 thanks Rakelle :-)

Maybe you should talk to your doctor and have him change your meds. Night sweats and vivid dreams are no fun. The best to you. Dee

thanks. dee. the dreams are kinda cool, but the sweats suck.. the only problem is i just lost my med insurance cause i had to switch to part time cause i was having trouble getting a babysitter for my daughter. and i know the doctor will want to see me... they never give advice over the phone. nono

Hello!! I have been on cymbalta for about 3 months now and I get the same numb feeling you describe. I have NO emotions at all... just a zombie in a sense. It's frustrating because I can't even really laugh at a good joke... or cry at the end of a good tear-jerker.

I haven't had night sweats.( thank God) but I do have some dreaming going on. I have to see my doc in a few weeks and I plan to talk to him about all this. I'll get back with ya on what he tells me.

Meanwhile.. I hope it gets better for you!! Allison
