Did you have a contract with your PM? Not enough in the urine will nullify the contract,or at least mine.
Suggestion- Explain to new clinic what happened, and clearly state that you didn't contact doc when you had a bad month, and that you should have.As a result, you failed the urine test with too little. Ask for a pain contract. State that you understand that you will call your doctor for help next time you have a bad week, and follow their instructions. This is very important these days with PM. Do not take too much--do contact the doc with ANY problem.
It might be okay, given that the test showed too little in your system. Did you have access to break-thru med? For instance, I take tramadol during the day, and use hydro at night. But I get a few extra pills of hydro every month for those bad days. Just in case.
In my state,we need a new script every month. My doctor trusts me, so doesn't ask that I come in every few months. It also helps that I use Kaiser Permanente, which has everything (and I do mean everything) in house.
Sometimes the medical thing sucks, yah.
So, what are you doing now for pain? Here are a few suggestions, in no particular order.
I used turmeric/curcumin for a while. It kinda helped.Herb--used for pain. None habit forming. Google it.
Get moving as much as you can.
heat? Cold? A muscle relaxer?
I use aspercreme for the days when I am having a bad time with a specific area.
Be well, friend. More people will be on when the weekend is past.
