hello all, I am new at this please forgive me, I have been suffering from depression for a long time. Thought I was doing well until the last couple of weeks. I have other health problems also, am no spring chicken. Smoked for many, many years and am now on 02 24/7 have adjusted to this but now get out less and less, always had my work before. I have a husband that is an alcoholic, realizes it and does not want to correct it. My doctor thinks it is his way of handling my condition, but it is the way he handles all conditions. He is not abusive and does not empty out the checking account but is home less and less. Find if I talk at all during the week it is to myself. The doctor suggested I go to Alanon, but have done that, just need a place to vent I guess. So here I am any one have any suggestions on how to occupy my time at home. thanks

Oh have been on 20. mg. of paxil for the last 2 years, before that it was zoloft.

Hallo oxy. I'd like to welcome you too - you will make new and good friends on this site. This is certainly the place to vent! You may well find it becomes your lifeline as it has for so many of us. It helps to know that we are not alone, nobody judges you and, sadsunshine is right, the people here are wonderful.

Hope we can be of some help to you.
