Neck and back pain can be related to depression.
It can also be related to Anxiety and the worry/dread over expectation of coming pain. Lyme disease is for the most post a chronic condition with many unknowns, and doctors giving conflicting information.
This alone can cause the umbrella of stress that causes the next and back pain.

Search for meditation for pain; coping with anxiety
easy exercise for pain, slow easy stretches
whole food diets; nothing artificial, reduce sugar, no alcholol, no soda, not article sweetness or colors, especially red and yellow food dyes.
No process foods. For instances, buy real cheese, not 'cheese products'
An appointment with Nutritionist the knows about
lyme disease could be extremely helpful
Therapy. Talking with a therapist to learn how to life with a chronic illness. It can be done. You can learn to have a diagnosis, NOT let the diagnosis have you.
