Severe depression

Does anyone have tips on how to stop being tired, having no motivation, and having no interest in used to be favorite activities? I'm a fourteen year old girl that has severe depression, so I can't really do a lot of things like walk by myself to places since my parents are too protective... I had a therapist, but I got changed to group therapy, which I haven't started yet.

Maybe because it's like, summertime.

When school starts back, maybe things will pick up, seeing your schoolmates, and all of that.

Are you like out of contact with everybody here during the summer?

Maybe your parents don't want you to walk by yourself because they don't want you to get hurt.

What is severe depression? You don't have a therapist anymore?

I think once you start group therapy things will be better. When do you start?

I think you will feel more enthused about things and everything will seem better.

Do you take any medications? Maybe not as you are young. I hope you like group therapy. Let us know how it goes.

Perhaps, taking 10 mins a day and sitting outside. Taking some deep breaths.

sometimes this perks up a person spirit enough to engage more easily.
