So--most of you know I work online with students for several different outfits. Found out today that my version of MS Office is invalid. Until I get it dealt with, my earning possibilities are limited. Both of my writing gigs require Word. I am about to log off for the day and run errands and go to my garden. I need to mull over the issue and see if I can do anything without shelling out a hundred or so for the software.

On the plus side, I have a teaching gig that might pan out into something both enjoyable and profitable. It, of course, requires MS Office.

Wow Myself... That would be my luck. Things changing on me...

I hope that the teaching gig goes well for you. You deserve something nice and good to happen.

Hang in there...

PS I cut my sage and thyme today to dry. Everything is coming to an end with the garden. Got to dig up some gladiolas for next year. I always forget to do that with those kinds of plants. I often leave the bulbs in the ground.

I hope you have a good day.

Hugs, Karen...

Thanks All. I am still somewhat anxious, but getting better. F27--buying 365 is last case resort. We had/have Office Professional 2010--but the key failed to install on my new computer, after I removed if from the old one. Upon a long chat with Microsoft, it became clear that the original key was no longer valid. It was through Amazon that we purchased it, so we are working on restitution through them.

I had a cat named Floyd--she wouldn't come out of the wall. **grins**

Karen--garden winding down--we planted radishes and lettuces here at home in boxes--and I have a little greenhouse we are going to use to try to overwinter them. My little plant has lettuce, rabe, chard, and radishes growing--and the little greenhouse is nurturing summer squash to maturity. Made a stew yesterday with the broth from a rotisserie chicken, and fennel and chard from the garden.

Jamie--keep searching them out. Sometimes they come out of nowhere.

Today I am submitting materials to this new gig, tutoring, and trying to fix the MS Office issue. Gym and cleaning.

My garden has totally winded down. I have gladiolas to dig up. I cut herbs yesterday. Still have oregano but have already cut so I am leaving it.

I hope you have an awesome day today. You do a lot, I am proud of you.

There are several alternatives to MS Office - just takes paying attention to how you save things to ensure compatibility. /fossbytes.com/best-alternatives-microsoft-office/

Myself,

I have to say that it sounds odd you have to BUY a new verson. Usually you can just download an update.

Did Microsoft change?

I had reached my breaking point with their issues and bought a Mac.
