Ah, I've heard of MAOIs. They are the only type of antidepressant left that I haven't tried. Oh, and Wellbutrin, but that's not been licensed for the treatment of depression in the UK.

Depends on the side-effects though. I hate the overly sedating/numbing effects of some meds. I've got a friend who doesn't mind the numbing aspect of antidepressants, but I feel like my brain is constantly struggling against the numbness and, paradoxically, more agitated as a result. (Although agitation is a severe problem for me these days, on or off meds, to be fair.)
