I've been on fmla for over 2 months now. before that I received 2 performance related warnings. during the fmla time I went to the office to pick up my paystub. my boss was there and told me I wasn't supposed to be in the building. I packed all my things and left.
I'm worried about going back there as she clearly has it out for me and wants to fire me. before I've been doing well for 5 years with a different manager at the same company. now it's going downhill fast. not only am I afraid to go back, not working has made me feel extremely useless. I'm stuck.
I received the first warning in February and started flaring in March. then I got the second warning. my flare is not getting better I stopped almost all my meds because they are ineffective now. I'm trying simponi and no remission yet. I feel so stuck.
You can always get in touch with me Andrina. Of course I am interested in how you're doing. I totally understand how you feel with the work stuff. I had a horrible week at work, not because of UC, but just general anxiety nonsense. It's really hard to fight physical conditions while trying to hold a job. In the end though, you need to take care of yourself. It sounds like you need more time. You wouldn't have wished this on yourself. If you could go back to working, you would. You've always been a hard worker and very reliable. Your record speaks for itself. Right now, you need time to heal. Stressing about
work is the worst thing for you. Can you have a heart to heart with this manager? What are you being warned for? I don't understand how they can give you a warning while you're on fmla for a medical condition... I hope you start to feel well soon so you can get back to your normal life.
