Welcome to all the members on this thread!
you have received some great information! and your pain is your pain. Never minimize it.
I myself am 58!!
I use to dye my hair. I was a blonde til around 35, then I went mouse colored. grays started. Highlights for a while. To expensive.
So I dyed my hair a nice red auburn that made my blue eyes pop.
Well, I have many diagnosis's. see below my signature. before my last suicide attempt. I dissociated and had my head shaved! My driver license reminds me of it and will until 2021! LOL
I decided that at 55, I was going to be natural, be proud of my mousey grey hair! I earned it! Every grey hair on my head! Now I where lip stick when I go out which I never did before. takes the attention off my hair for the most part. Which I keep short do to a receding hair line.
I starting using self-compassion about
14mos ago and it has made a significant change in how I think about
myself and the world around me.
