I dunno why, there's just something about
a house of books I have always really liked. Grew up in a house like that. Have few happy memories of childhood, but I guess the one thing I did
have as a child was reading - there certainly wasn't any internet or even much TV. And as I got older, I liked going through the books on my parents' bookshelves.
Re news. I'm going on Twitter far less than I was. Realised I had a problem when somebody blocked me after a stupid row. I don't care about
the person or the row, but I realised the stress of it all was really getting to me. The fear of a no deal Brexit hasn't gone away. That absolute clown, Boris Johnson (think a British Trump), is going to become our new PM next week. He's in total hock to Trump and American interests; I just thank my lucky stars I'm eligible for an Irish passport, so if the worse case scenario does happen I have an escape route.

Dx Crohn's in June 2000. (Yay )
Tried: 5-ASAs, azathioprine, 6MP, Remicade, methotrexate, Humira, Entyvio, diet.
1st surgery 20/2/13 - subtotal colectomy with end ileostomy.
2nd surgery 10/7/15 - ileorectal anastomosis. Stoma reversed and ileum connected to the rectum.
Current meds: 50mg 6MP; Stelara (started 15th July '19)
