My mom and another person told me that I need to forgive the driver, not for his sake but for mine, but I wonder how true this is. Do you really need to forgive someone to move on? I don't think so. Yes, I still get angry at the driver sometimes, but I have accepted my new reality and 'moved on' as I really have no choice.
Telling someone that they need to forgive can be more detrimental for some people IMO. Thanks for listening to my rant.

35 years old; diagnosed UC March 2007 (couldn't get scope all the way thru).
9-29-16: chronic and active proctosigmoiditis (infectious cause). Battled reoccuring campylobacter & c diff. Oct-Dec 2016. Remission since 12/25/16 until I started smoking again in 2018 after 9 yrs quit. Re-quit smoking. Maintenance: Delzicol, 6, 2xday; Rowasa nightly. Started Remicade 7/25/19. 50 mg pred 10/29/19.
