I just got back from the psychiatrist and he gave me a script for Prozac. The deal is that I am already on 40 mgs of Celexa. Being on 2 SSRI's at the same time makes me a tad nervous. Have any of you been on 2 of them at the same time?

I take Celexa and Remeron and the combination seems to be working pretty well for me. I've been on both for about a year and a half. I hope it helps you .

This is pretty common to add another medication (antidepressant) on top of one.  It is called "Stacking" and psychiatrists or physicians do this when someone has a difficult time responding to one medication.  I would suggest following your doctors recommendations in your treatment and if you do have any problems call them.
