Hi ladybugs,

I think there are a few people here that are taking it.  So this post will be bumped up to the top and hopefully they will see it to post a reply.  I take Effexor XR and it is working well for me.  Good luck

Hello, Cymbalta was my lifesaver!!! I started feeling better in 3 days. Full effect i saw in around 2 weeks. Wonderful drug for me, but like you know not all work the same for everyone.
Best of luck and God bless!

I just tried cymbalta because it is known to help with the physical pain associated with depression. Unfortunately, it did not work for me. While it did help somewhat with pain (that was not associated with my PD), I experienced nausea to a significant degree. I also had this weird side effect, where I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin! [sort of like an aggressive and agitated state at the same time]

Nevertheless, I've heard it has worked very well for others. Just wanted you to know of my experience.

I had an awful experience with Cymbalta back in September.  My Doctor prescribed it for me saying it was the "newest" and the one they had a lof of "samples" of.  I had a terrible reaction to much, that I was hospitalized.  I know it has worked for some people, but I thought it was an awful antidepressant (for me).  I was on it for about a week..sweated terribly, my face and chest got very flushed..started getting red marks on my chest..then I got very sick to my stomach, always felt fatigued where I slept through the day..then I started feeling worse..suicidal..and I admitted myself to the hospital.
