I am sorry to hear you are feeling bad. I was just hospitalized back in September for severe depression. Can you provide more details? Are you currently in therapy and/or on meds for severe depression?

thanks for your response. I'm new at this. I'm on two meds for depression and two for anxiety and one for pain. Also in counseling.

Hi Kris,  I wanted to welcome you to Healing Well forum.  We are happy to have you but really sorry that you are having problems.

I also have Depression and Multiple Sclerosis diagnosed in 2001.  Which is pretty much what caused the downfall of my marriage.  So I am divorced now for almost 2 yrs, but we remain friends.  You stated that you have empty-nest?  Do you have a child that has gone off to college or moved out on their own recently?  Healing Well has a MS board also, so if you need help navigating the site just let me know and I will be happy to help you.  My e-mail address is right below my username just click on it to send a message.  We are looking forward to hearing more from you.  take care...

Hi Kris,
There are some wonderful people on this forum, who will help you the best they can, it's a place where you can be you, no matter what you are feeling, or experiencing, i am sure you have read some of the threads and see that for yourself,
take your time, and when you are ready to write what you are feeling, then someone will be here for you, you will find that when you do, things will be a little clearer than what they are now, but that first step is always difficult
