Wow Crystal. You have loads on your mind I would be depressed myself. But one thing you should think about: It wasn't your sisters fault that she was born with Down's Syndrome. And you mention that you ended up hating her because she was getting all the glory. The glory that your sister Willow received was not from your parents taking care of her but because she was blessed by God. She received God's Glory. She is in Heaven now. And believe me, she does not hate you for the way you felt; she loved you and still does. If I have learned one thing in my life it is this: You must be able to forgive yourself for things you have done or thought about or even said in order to have that burden lifted from your 'shoulders'. I don't think that your parents 'ignored' you on purpose, I believe they felt like they had to give more attention to Willow, they thought she needed more. But that is their burden. Write your parents a letter. Let them know how you feel. Let them know that you need them desperately but most of all let them know that you love them. Did you parents ever hear you say that you hated your sister? If so, rest assured they don't understand why. They love you the same but if you don't let them know your pain then they will never understand. I'm trying to be direct to the point. I know where you are coming from. The same thing happened to one of my family members.
