first don't worry about it, everyone has a bad night like this every so often, and sometimes without any obvious reasons.
I am going to throw this creative stuff at you again, night time is when your imagination likes to play, so its a great time to write, paint etc, so maybe try a bit of creative writing, even using the hand you don't usually use to write, yer ok thats a bit strange, but some psychologists use the idea, and it is quite an interesting experience,
no matter how you look at it, when you arent sleeping your imagination is going to work, think about it, when you are lying there and start to worry and get frustrated, arent you imagining, put it to use in a positive way, write something, then when you feel satisfied with what you have written go back to bed, see what happens
i like to think that the creative mind, doesnt give a darn whether you sleep or not, really it cares little about anything, except what it needs to express,
ok that said, and you dont want to go for that, try some meditation music, just nice and light, have a shower, do a few light exercises, or go lie in the lounge with the window open and watch the stars for a while, just forget about sleep, it will come when its ready as long as you dont try to force it
