Just wanted to let people know that there can be a way out from the darkness. After several years of intense work, talk therapy, and drug therapy, I can let you all know that I am off all anti-d meds, no longer need ambien to sleep, And do not feel the dark rain cloud following me around anymore. This has only been 6 months, but I take it as six months paradise. Hang in there, work hard on yourselves, and most of all never give up. There is light at the end of the tunnel and it isn't a train.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

CheerDad I want to tell you that not only do I love the hopeful tone of your ID but I also appreciate the encouraging way you post. I will soon be adding my message of hope as I am tapering off meds as we speak and continue on my personal journey of health.

From this moment onward you can be an entirely different person, filled with love and understanding, ready with an outstretched hand, uplifted and positive in every thought and deed."

Wow Randy  :-)  .   What an inspiration you are.  I hope you continue to be blessed with happiness and peace.  I was actually just wondering myself the other day if I'll ever be able to get off these anti-depressants.  There is hope :-) .  Good to know.  Take good care of yourself Randy.

Take care, Softy
