Hi Everyone,

Just wondered if everyone has one thing in life that makes them feel happy??

Even if it something small, what brings you happiness?

My boyfriend, my 2 cats and my friends make me happy

Take care all

bright sunny days,

spending time with my family and friends,

helping another person feel better,

looking the best I can (i know that is terribly superficial but it does make me feel better),

music in my car especially when I working late nights,

being organized (have a problem with procrastination which I am trying very hard to overcome)

Yesterday, I was running behind schedule. I accidently locked my keys and my kids (5) in my van, got a flat tyre and still got to my appointment on time.

When things are completely crappy and then turn golden. I'm elated.

Yes, My fat, lazy, 'supposed to be a guard dog' Percy makes me happy. He's so useless. Slug is a good word.

My 4 year old who acts like a 50 year old makes me happy (he even has a shoe horn)
My wierd 2 year old.
My stubborn 'bully' baby.
and my 'make up songs that don't rhyme' husband also makes me happy.

I love this thread. It made me think about the things that make me happy. Am emotion I don't get very often lately. So. here they are:

My labradoodle Brody. The cutest, smartest, biggest goofball in the world.
All the wonderful friends I have found on the boards.
My husband.(most of the time)
Water. Mainly the Chesapeke Bay but any water will do.
Did I mention my dog Brody, lol, I truely credit him with saving my life. If not for having him this last year and a half I don't think I would have been able to stamp down the urge to kill myself. It's been a tough time for me but he is my angel. scool

I'm new here, so I hope it's okay that my first post is in this thread.

What makes me happy is spending time with my family and my two cats, our goats and sheep.

I also love fall and the sound of leaves crunching under my feet.

Hi all -- and welcome alexis.

I was just reminded of this after a message I wrote to Michelle. -- Remembering when I worked in a library makes me happy -- we had such odd queries, the top two being:

At #2:

"Excuse me, could you tell me where the red books are?"

?????????????!!!!! (Interestingly, a year later the library got a face-lift and different areas were colour-coded; so maybe this user just had a psychic vision of the future!)

At #1:

User: "I've looked up this book on the system and it told me it was L-O-S-T. Could you tell me where the L-O-S-T books are please?"

Me: "L-O-S-T? Oh, you mean 'LOST'. Um, I'm afraid they're ... lost."

Honestly?
Knowing that one day this physical body will be dead, 'cause there is just SO much **** that i won't have to deal with ever again.
I really look forward to that.
