I guess I should admitt I depressed! Can't afford to go to yet another doctor for this right now. I'm just really tired of being sick most of the time. If it's not the asthma then its sinusitis. No family support because they think the asthma is all in my head (They never did believe asthma was a real illness). Would be nice to know if someday I finally be free of all these medications!!! Anyway just letting off some steam on this web site helps, gotta go because my headache (sinusitis) right now is incredible awful.

Hi Chartreux, I'm depressed too. Could you go to a clinic that charges by your income or the health department? I have crohn's disease and thyroid issues as well as depression and anxiety disorder and will be on several medications all my life. I get sick and tired of being sick and tired all the time too. I had chronic sinutitus for years and only got relief after I had sinus surgery. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Hi, I know just how you feel.  It sucks being sick plus having depression.  But, please know that we care about your wellbeing.  I've been taking Paxil/Xanax since 2002 for depression and anxiety.  I was not able to work for three years due to depression and anxiety/panic attacks.  I'm currently working part-time(no medical insurance).  Drs and meds are expensive, So I completely understand your position.  Take care.

Hi Chartreux, Welcome to Healing Well forum.  I too understand well how medical illness plays a big part into depression.  Although I have had depression long before I became physically ill it certainly worsened when I was diagnosed with MS in 2001 and again last year when I was found to have an autonomic disorder.  I am sure it is even more difficult when you have no family support.  Please know that we are here for you, everyone here is wonderful with encouragement and compassion.  I do hope that you keep posting.  Take care

Hi Chartreux
Welcome to Healing Well.
I have suffered myself with bouts of sinusitis and I know how horrible it can be. Physical illness can have a big impact on depression, I have experienced that.
I'm sorry you are feeling this way and Im sorry for the lack of support you feel you have right now.
We are always here to listen so please post anytime.

Keep in touch
