what meds next

hi all happy new year, havent been on pc for a while sorry,
just a quick line, hope some of us are feeling better
after 7 weeks on sertraline still had persistent bad stomach and dia? so went back too docs first time he upped the sertraline from 100mg to 150mg,
Things just got worse including the depression, maybe due to feeling so ill went back yesterday he has now put me on
dosulepin 75mg at nite is this ever going to end do they really know what there doing I hope so he has booked for counselling but when ? still off work 8 weeks now feel like a guinea pig take care all

It is hard to not feel like a science experiance when doctors are changing medications on us like that.  But the fact remains that if you dont do well on one then you do need to try another and keep trying until you find one that works.  It is hard on us mentally and physically but hopefully when you find that one med that does work it is worth it as things stable out for you.  You have to have trust in your physician and his knowledge.  Counseling on the otherhand is always helpful.  I hope this med does the trick and works for you.  Hang in there and you will be in my thoughts that it does. :-)

i've been on mucho meds. I gave up months ago. I'm sticking with Celexa but my husband says why even tgake it. I gave up on my arnp. The psychicatrist with my psyhologist wants me sober for 2 weeks, and havent' be able to do that. What to do? I dont' know.

hi thanks for all the thoughts, I hope you are all well at the moment,
 I will carry on taking the meds but still no better I understand all these meds take time,
I just really need to get back too work very sad HERE , not suicidle but so fed up.
As I was mentally feeling better on sertraline but now its all starting again,
