Asking about magnesium is not irrelevant or off topic at all! Many symptoms of magnesium deficiency can mimic symptoms of the diseases discussed in these forums and getting insufficient magnesium is a common problem in modern processed foods diets.

Sunnivara, you were not "asking about magnesium" in your original post.  You were listing signs and symptoms of magnesium deficiency then left a web site to an enhanced water.  Not to mention that you spammed several other forums on this web site which is against forum rules.
Yes, I will agree with you on one thing here that some modern foods do lack certian vitamins that our bodies need.  However, there is no link between decreased magnesium in a person's body and depression.  I feel that you should either do more research on the topic of depression and not just from these web sites that are pushing the magnesium issue but, from ligit sites such as National Institute of Mental Health for instance.  Otherwise, please dont continue to insult the intelligence of those of us who have had depression and or related disorders, done our research on it and know what it is all about.
Thank you
