Hi everyone - I am new on this forum, used to be Ulcerative Colitis, then Ostomy and now J-Pouch group.  My physical health is ok now but I came off my Citalopram as they didn't do much for enjoying my love life and now am back on St John's wort, which worked quite well some years ago.  The link above offers a 3 minute cure for 97$ and I wondered if anyone had a good report, or if it's like the bit of cotton wool in my ear that some guy told me would cure my Colitis (and yes, I did try it, for a week, and no, it didn't work).  Thanks for your help and advice.

I don't know anything about it but I'm always skeptical of any ad that won't even hint at what it is they are offering you. Is it an herb? Is it a hypnosis tape? A meditation technique? If they won't tell you that much then they know it's either a) something ridiculous that you'll know right away is nonsense, or b) something you can easily get/do for free elsewhere. I'd recommend doing a web search for forum posts of others who have investigated it, like this one:

Sounds like a scam to me, I would definitely steer clear of anything like this. Things advertised on the internet should always be taken with a grain of salt.
Female, 21, Ulcerative colitis (pancolitis) since 1999; GERD; gastritis; osteopenia from long term prednisone use

Currently taking 7.5mg of prednisone (down from 40! Almost done...)
Waiting to start back on Azathioprine...

Yes I agree with everyone else here... most likely a scam.

nono  I have found most of these are scams unfortunately!  The most depressing one was the Lucinda Bassett program.  It was a scam from the shipping to the overall program.  I was so upset because I wanted so much for it to work.
I dont trust any of them!

I looked at the site, as well.  Not much detail.  I have battled with depression most of my adult life.  I've tried all routes.  The only thing that worked for me was a better diet and more exercise.  These will definitely help.  More fruits, vegetables (especially greens), whole grains, live vs. processed foods, more water, etc..  Keep track of how you feel after you eat something.  Your body will tell you, if you pay attention to it.  Research links between depression and liver function.  Cut out things which negatively impact the performance of the liver.  I hope this helps.

If depression could be cured in 3 minutes, then people l;ike me wouldnt spend 7 years at University getting a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. JUst think how many "3 minutes" there are in 7 years! My gut says its a scam and would leave well alone. Anyone who makes a claim that sounds too good to be true is usually talking out of somewhere other than their mouth! lol
