I have a similar issue, the meds I am on have been making me gain weight and also making it hard for me to lose weight too. Most of it is water weigh anyway, but I also need the meds.
I just walk a lot 30 to 60+ minutes a day (since i do not have a car I have no choice but to walk). If it is possible for your to walk instead of driving somewhere, I would.
Since it is starting to get hot, maybe go to the mall and walk around while browsing. As long as it is not a place of temptation. Going for hikes, or going on a bike rides are other options. At least this way you will save money on gym fees.
Plus every time is gets to easy, just push yourself to another mile, or 15 minutes. That's a start.
I would also try drinking more water, I have realized the more I drank the less hungry I get.
