I have read that you should not mix antidepressents w/other antidepressents, but I was wondering if I am taking St. John's wort and Sam E, (which works well for my joints as well as depression), can I take them both together?

Please advise.

According to the literature I have read for both, they both help w/depression, but I also find Sam E is helpful for joint strength, so I'd like to take them together, what are the risks if I do so?

Please Advise.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi there and welcome to HealingWell!

hmmm.... This is a tough one for me, having only used St Johns Wort. The best place for advice like that is a herbalist. Make sure it is a proper certified one though.

Sorry I can't be more help than this. Hopefully others out there may have some answers too
