teens and meds

 my daughters therapist wants her to see a psychiatrist so that she can be put on meds. i am relly scared about this seeing has how she is only 13. does anyone here have children on meds and if so how did it affect them?????

Im not a great expert here, but I am aware that there are some meds that children are able to take. If the therapist has suggested this then I would think that he has something in mind, but can't prescribe it because of his qualification. I can completely understand that you are scared and nervous. Perhaps you are able to go with her to start with? Maybe this will put your mind at ease.

Everyone has a guardian angel. They help pick you up when you fall, comfort you through your times of need and help you appreciate the times when things are going well.
