I usually post on the Fibro forum, but I have a question concerning my daughter. She has been on Lexapro for about six or seven years. If she misses only one dose, she can either go into a rage or a crying spell. She can become very angry to the pont that I cannot be around her, since I am very sick myself and suffer from depression.
She is only on 10 mg., but when she tried 20, she said she felt really weird. I think she needs to maybe try another anti-depressant. Have any of you experienced these symptoms? She has a very busy schedule, and sometimes she just forgets her meds. It doesn't seem to me that it even helps her that much.
Suggestions, anyone?

Hey there,

Many of the AD meds do have a tendency to wear out after taking them for an extended period.  This may be your daughter's problem.

I would suggest she see her Pdoc and discuss changing to a new med.  Hope that helps you with your question.
