I take FULL responsibility for the #'s.New Years,I drank over 2 Pints Smirnoff and ate unhealthy finger Foods.Though I take responsibility for my unhealthy behaviors/actions New Years,I cannot afford to eat Healthy on a Daily basis.
I'm over my Head in debt, and after paying Bills, there is little Money if any Money to buy Food. The last time I bought a cart full of Healthy and Nutritious Foods was January 12,2009.Since,I have "scrounged" for whatever I eat.
Every time I turn around I'm having to put Money into my Car,which I've had less than a Year and now need a new Part for my Washing Machine.Recently had a Chest Infection and for the second time,I didn't get into School.

I find that I don't tolerate alcohol well at all. If I have more than one weak drink, my BGL goes up a lot. You might have better luck if you eat the munchies (I try to concentrate on protein foods like meatballs or cheese at these things) and drink water or diet soda.

Sydnee, I know everything is hard when there are financial hardships. Here's hoping your situation will improve soon.

I've never been much of a drinker (before or after) Diabetes.I learned my lesson,so ZERO Alcohol for me!I shouldn't drink Diet Soda either. My situation MUST improve soon,or I'm gonna pull my Hair out!If I didn't have all these worries,it would greatly lessen the Stress thus lower my Blood Sugar.

Drinking and D don't mix well for most people...I found that out the hard way. I'm pre-diabetic and won't touch it as of a little over two years ago. Concerning financial hardship...have you applied for help so you can afford to eat healthy foods? We all pay taxes into the system...at least most of us do...and you're entitled to help when you truly need it. You aren't asking for a hand-out but for a hand-up. I hope things will improve for you ( for all of us ) this new year!

I'm sorry for those out of control blood sugar readings, Sydnee, but you know you've been down this road before and you know the best ways to control your blood sugar.  Good luck.
