Well, I got my meter about
and it has just decided that it will start giving me weird readings. I thought it was just my diabetes going out of whack.. Doctor just put me on a lean meat, 5 fruits & veggies a day, lots of beans, lots of monounsaturated fats food plan. She is trying to get my triglycerides and liver enzymes in line. So I've been beyond good, I've been SAINTLY! Then when I woke to a 159 this morning I freaked. My daughter who is a normal and usually runs about
90 tested her blood. She got a 127. She said, "Mom, you had this same meter before I got married. How long have you had it?"
Time sure flies when you are old! Time for a new meter! Found one online that is fairly inexpensive, got the meter & 550 test strips for $108.00. Not too bad for a girl without insurance!
