For the diarrhea, try adding more fibre to your diet like beans, lentils, nuts, seeds and some whole grains (i.e. oatmeal). Choosing the high-fibre veg (brocolli, cabbage, etc.) over starch (carrots, potatoes) and high-fibre fruit (berries, mango, apple with peel, etc.) would help, too.
Sometimes it takes weeks for the body to adjust so, follow the routine of healthy eating and regular testing and taking your meds and things will eventually level off.
DO keep a daily log as Jeannie suggests and I assure you that the information will help the doc tremendously in deciding the next course of action.
