You'll do that for me? Thanks!
The Huffington Post article talks of the benefits of exercise for blood sugar, but beyond that, regular sustained exercise also helps the heart, blood pressure, skin, brain and mood. It gets the circulation moving along faster. It helps the metabolism. The word 'exercise' seems to be a word that induces groans, like telling a kid to clean his room. Of course, I don't have to remind all of us of a certain age that we did have 'exercise' as part of our daily lives when we were growing up: walking to school, riding bikes, pushing a lawn mower, raking the lawn (not only autumn leaves!), clipping hedges with manual shears, sweeping the sidewalk.... And into adulthood, more walking and manual gardening and cleaning. This may not be so anymore so we have to make time for 'exercise' in our busy lives today. Please don't take it out on the messenger.
