Nana monster, have you seen your doctor about
your blood sugar? Your blood sugar is much too high and readings that high can cause organ damage over a certain period of time if it is not controlled. High blood sugar can cause damage to the eyes, heart, circulation, kidneys among others.
Please read this website: http://www.bloodsugar101.com/
It has tons of information about
blood sugar and diabetes. And there are two stickies at the top of this forum with information as well.
I am presuming you are type 2. How old are you? Are there other family member who have diabetes? Are you overweight?
There are several things you need to understand about
diet: the more carbs you eat, the higher your blood sugar will be. Breads, pastas, rice, potatoes will all keep your blood sugar high. Sauces and gravies do have fats and carbs and a lot of empty calories so I think it's wise to stay away from them. Meals with salads, vegetables and a small portion of protein are the best for diabetics.
Cardio activity (walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, etc.) are really good for helping keep the blood sugar lower but this needs to be in conjunction with diet.
I think you really need to see your doctor.
