I want to preface this post by stating that I'm a major hypochondriac. I've had some issues in the past which led me to believe I may have some kind of blood sugar issue lurking. To date, I have seen both an endo and a hormone specialist who both assure me I have no insulin resistance or diabetes. However, I am noticing that in the morning, my blood sugar is always higher between 88-93. Tonight, I had a huge amount of a very fatty and sugary cake and checked my sugar four hours later it was 125--shouldn't it be back to normal? Also, i get palpatations after eating very carb rich and sugary foods, and often feel low. When I experience these lows, I am always between 77-88.
Can someone please help me understand what may be happening? Also, I have an under active thyroid which i am taking meds for.
(I gave your post a subject.)
